Spontaneous Abortions:   

Depending upon which data you believe, fifty to seventy-five percent of all God's brand new children spontaneously abort.   Most impregnated eggs never attach to the uterine wall.   They flow out of the woman's body with her menstrual flow.   

Where Are All God's Children?   

This brings up one really puzzling question:  What do you suppose God has done with all those billions of newly created, but  abandoned and discarded human beings?     They're so small they're almost invisible.   Each one is about the size of a pencil dot on a piece of paper.   God could fit about three billion of them in a container the size of only one newly born baby.   And here He has hundreds of millions of his  newly created humans  being randomly discarded all over the planet every year!    Does God collect all these brand new human beings and deliver them somewhere?   Does he just leave them lying all over the place?

Flushing Children Down the Toilet:   

What about the millions of new humans that get flushed down the world's  toilets?   Imagine for a moment what happens to them.   That's a pretty gross thing for a loving God to do to millions of his own children.   Remember now, these are eternal, everlasting human beings who are getting flushed down the world's toilets.   Then, according to fundamentalist Christian theology, they get shipped off to hell and remain there forever.   It makes you kind of wonder -- Is god really that stupid or that cruel?  And do you suppose that billions of these single cell, un-blessed humans really are spending eternity in Hell?   This leaves us with only two possible conclusions:   

1)   This entire conception magic act is a religious fairytale or   

2)  The Christian belief in God's Conception Magic Act is actually true.  
       If it's true, then: 

God is the world's cruelest, vilest, 

most heartless baby murderer.  

Imagine two residents of hell having a conversation. 

There's Newly,   Newly is one of God's brand new humans who never grew beyond a single cell.   He's still a single cell.  He's just got a lot bigger.   Newly is sort of like a human except that Heshe has no gender.

And there's Screwup.   Screwup is a former, normal average human who made a big mistake.  

Between screams and moans, and groans . . . and picking up puppy dog bones, Newly asks Screwup why he's in hell. 

Screwup says, "I forgot to ask God for forgiveness for my sin.  

"What Sin?" 

"Eating meat on Friday."  

Newly laughs. 

Screwup in a demanding voice,   "What?   What are you laughing about?"

"Oh!   I guess you haven't heard."  

"Heard What?"   

"That eating meat in Friday is no longer a sin." 

Screwup's mouth drops open.   He stares at Newly in disbelief.   

Newly waits patiently and then not so patiently and then says, "What the big deal?  

Screwup speaks in the voice of hopelessness and innocence:  "I've been framed, used, setup, busted, branded for being me and then sent to hell forever for a sin that isn't even a sin.  

Newly pauses, then says,  "Look, Screwy, I know that you got a raw deal.  I'm in the same hell you are and I didn't ever even get a chance to sin." 

Screwy continues looking grumpy.  

Newly sighs and then says,  "Screwy, I tell you what.   I'll pass you a deal." 

"What kind of deal?" 

Newly says "Let's swap past lives.  You take mine and I'll take yours."  

Screwup looks at Newly and shakes his head, "No."   

Newly continues, "We're both stuck in hell forever, so what's the difference.?"  

"You must think I'm nuts" say Screwy?   I'd have to be as phony-brained as a left handed cork screw to take a deal like that.  You don't have no past life.  

"That's because I'm mostly empty.   But I do have something.   I've got a lot of wind."   

"You mean you pass gas more than the rest of us?"  

"Well, sort of.   Actually, I am gas.   I'm 99 and  44/100 pure gas.   There's not much to me except gas and I do break wind a lot."  

"Why do you suppose that's so for you?" 

"You really want to know?" 

"Ya."

"I got kicked out of the nest nine months and three days before I was to be born.    I only got one cell, and I ain't got no sex.  

"What do you mean, you ain't got no sex?"  

"I'm neither male or female.    I've never masturbated, or had sex outside of marriage.   I'm not gay.  I don't even know what sex is.   I've never had an abortion and  I never ate meat in Friday.   By the way, what is a Friday?  and how do you get on one?   I got sent here before my Earth mother even knew I existed"  

"Really.   Your just one single sell and I'm made of billions of cells."   What did you do to get so big?"  

"I didn't do anything.  God created me this way and then sent me here."   You mean you're not here because you sinned."   "Nope, I've never sinned, not even once by accident?"  

"Then why are you here?"  

"I haven't a clue!"  

"Hmm.   OK, you were telling me how you got so big."

The devil fills me with gas every morning.   Otherwise He wouldn't have any body to torture.   And it's not true that I don't have a past life.  I do have one.   It's just a lot shorter that your." 

"Tell me about it." 

"I don't think you want to know."  

"Yes, I really do." 

"Are you sure?   It's not a live-happily-ever-after story."  

"Ya, I'm sure, tell me, any way."

"Ok.   I got created and then murdered, all on the same day."  

"What do you mean you got murdered?"

"I got drowned.   I got flushed down a toilet.   I drowned in piss, and puke and a lot of other stuff I don't need to name."   

Now, my friends, after that vulgar peek into the reality of the anti-abortion, fundamentalist-Christian belieefs, can we turn our attention and our energy to something more pleasant.   Did you know that love is way too big to be a four letter word?   It's also has the biggest meaning in all of creation.  

I think we should spell it with two ells like Lloyd is spelled with two ells.   Let's also spell it  "Llove,"  with a capital  L.   That would make Llove a five letter word like sweet and sugar and happy.   What do you think?

In addition to God's newly created babies that are washed out of the woman's body with her menstrual blood, God throws away another ten to fifteen percent by way of miscarriages during pregnancy.   And then He trashes most of those who do manage to get born because they didn't get themselves wet and blessed by the correct holly man.   And then He condemns a significant portion or those who did get wet and blessed because they aren't good enough for heaven.  

Wouldn't you think that if God really did want to fill up heaven with mindless good folks, he'd just make a bunch of them and drop them directly into heaven.  

Perhaps Catholic Pope, John Paul II, was correct when he said that hell was not a real place, but rather a symbolic metaphor meaning that the person was separated from God.     

If the Christian belief in God's instantaneous, supernatural, transcendental conception magic act is actually true, then it must also be true that God is not only the world's cruelest and most notorious baby murderer, He's also an incompetent idiot.

All this makes us wonder about another possibility:  Is it possible that the anti-abortionist's story about God's Conception Magic Act is just another no-choice fairytale like their fairytale about The Rapture?  

Is it possible that this story belongs in the same category as the stories about the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny?   How many of you would support passing a strict behavior-control law that dramatically altered your life based on the story about the tooth fairy?   How about a law based on the Easter bunny story?   How about a law based on a Medieval religious fairytale?  

Perhaps, humans beings are not their physical bodies.   The scientific evidence tells us that there is no such thing as physical matter -- that everything is energy -- that energy is controlled by consciousness.   A multitude of scientists have searched the physical body looking for the source of consciousness that we commonly call "the mind."   Nobody has ever found anything physical that is the human mind or human consciousness.  

This lack of physical evidence indicates that the mind (that consciousness) is in the non-physical portion of reality.   We commonly hear the phrase "body, mind, and spirit."   What is "spirit?"   In Ecclesiastes 11:5, God tells us that "spirit" is something invisible that associates itself with ("comes to")  human bodies. 

Lets look at a few Biblical passages that the forced motherhood promoters intentionally ignore.   

Perhaps the Christian Bible is correct when it says in Genesis 2:7.  

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
